Finding My Way...

Updated: Jan 1, 2024

Hi. I'm Carlynn. I'm scared to death to do this and put myself out there but my life is changing and this is the hobby that I've chosen for myself. So I'm excited you're even taking 30 seconds to read this.

A few things about me.

I'm pretty sure I have adult onset ADHD.

I work full time.

I have a wonderful family and I'm a mom to 3 almost adult kids.

I love looking at social media.

I have a (minor :) shopping addiction.

I always love to look for random things.

Lately I've been spending a lot of time looking for better products that aren't filled with yucky chemicals.

I'm all over the web looking for clean alternatives for food, make up, cleaning products and home products. It's my new passion- I say passion with a bit of caution because who knows what I will be looking at next week or even later tonight. I'm basically the adult version of "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie." My story would be titled, "If You Give Me a Phone, What Product Will be on My Porch in 2-3 Days."

Anywho- I'm trying to get more protein in my diet. I'm RIDICULOUSLY AND EXTREMELY picky. So when I heard about how you can use cottage cheese in some recipes and it wouldn't taste like cottage cheese I was stoked. I'm going to share my new go to Dill Dip recipe with you. You can put it on some yummy organic Triscuits- so good, or you can be a slacker and just use good old Ruffles potato chips. Either way its awesome.

It seems like Organic Triscuits are hard to find so I'll add a link from Amazon. I do get paid a few cents if you do purchase through my link, just FYI. Find them here: https://amzn.to/3ty6Y7j

The Looky Looster's Dill Dip

1 8oz carton of cottage cheese

1 tbsp minced onion

2 tsp of dill weed

1/4 tsp of black pepper

1/4 tsp of salt

Directions:

Put the cottage cheese in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.

Pour into mixing bowl- I love these:

Add in minced onion, dill weed, salt, pepper and stir.

Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour.

Dip and enjoy. This dip is AMAZING veggies. I love to dip peppers, celery, or carrots. So good.
